همه کودکان حق تحصیل با کیفیت دارند تا بتوانند به موقعیتهای بهتری در زندگی خود دست یابند. کودکان بازمانده از تحصیل، مولد فقر فرهنگی و اقتصادی خواهند شد. آموزش مناسب، رشد اقتصادی را افزایش میدهد و میتواند منجر به برابری جنسیتی، کاهش ازدواج کودکان و ترویج صلح در سطح داخلی و بین المللی شود.
تحصیل و آموزش همچنین یک حق حیاتی است که در اعلامیه جهانی حقوق بشر و کنوانسیون حقوق کودک به تصویب رسیده است. مدرسه رفتن، نه تنها بر آینده فرزندان تاثیر میگذارد، بلکه بر آینده خانوادهها، دوستان و جامعه نیز اثر گذار است. هر اندازه که کودکان بیشتری تحصیل کنند، جهان جای زیباتری خواهد شد.

بنا بر آمار و گزارشهای مختلف، بیش از 3 میلیون کودک بین سنین 7 تا 16 سال، بازمانده از تحصیل در ایران وجود دارد. با وجود این نیاز حیاتی برای آموزش، سازمانهای خیریه بزرگ جهانی به دلیل تحریم ها و سایر موانع مختلفی که در داخل کشور وجود دارد، فعالیت بسیار محدودی در ایران دارند و این کودکان و نیازهای آنها اغلب نادیده گرفته میشود.
در بنیاد یاری، ما بستری را فراهم میکنیم تا اینگونه کودکان فرصتی برای تحقق بخشیدن به توانمندیهای خود و آیندهای روشن را داشته باشند. برای بسیاری از خانوادههای نیازمند در ایران تامین هزینه تحصیلات ،خرید نوشت افزار و کتاب های مدرسه و همچنین هزینههای اردوهای دانش آموزی تقریبا غیرممکن است.
جامعه هدف ما، کودکانی هستد که در آستانه ترک تحصیل قرار دارند و یا حتی توانایی شروع مدرسه و تحصیل را ندارند. بنابراین سعی میکنیم جلوی فاجعه را قبل از نابودی زندگی اینگونه کودکان بگیریم. .کمک مالی شما، فرصتی برای این خانواده ها فراهم میکند تا آینده ی پرامیدی برای فرزندانشان بسازند.

آموزش و پرورش برای برطرف کردن فقر و عدم انتقال آن از نسلی به نسل دیگر حیاتی است.
اثرات فردی تحصیلات موفق شامل موارد زیر میباشد:
- هر یک سال تحصیل بیشتر، درآمد فرد را تا ۱۰٪ افزایش میدهد.
- هر یک سال تحصیل بیشتر متوسطه، احتمال ازدواج کودکان زیر هجده سال را تا ۵٪ کاهش میدهد.
- زنان با تحصیلات ابتدایی ۱۴٪ تا ۱۹٪ درآمد بیشتری از زنان بیسواد دارند.
- هر یک سال تحصیل بیشتر مادران، امکان مرگ و میر نوزادان را تا ۱۰٪ کاهش میدهد.
- هر یک سال تحصیل بیشتر، امکان مادر شدن (دختران زیر سن قانونی) را ۷.۳٪ کاهش میدهد.
- کودکانی که مادرانشان سواد خواندن و نوشتن دارند، تا ۵۰٪ امکان زنده ماندن تا سن پنج سالگی را دارند و امکان واکسینه شدن آنها تا۵۰٪ افزایش مییابد.

جامعه و آموزش و پرورش، مکمل یکدیگر هستند. سواد تنها مهارت خواندن و نوشتن نیست بلکه تحولی است که تقویت کننده تفکر انتقادی و توانایی عمل افراد میباشد. این توانایی، تاثیر گسترده ای بر جامعه و توسعه انسانی به شرح زیر دارد:
- دهها سال پژوهش نشان داده است که پیوند محکمی میان تحصیلات ابتدایی و رشد اقتصادی وجود دارد.
- دختران تحصیل کرده، احتمال بیشتری دارد که فرزندان خود را به مدرسه بفرستند و پیگیر تحصیلات فرزندان خود باشند.
- آموزش و پرورش تاثیر مثبتی در سلامتی روان کودکان دارد و از استثمار کودکان برای کار و قاچاق آنها جلوگیری میکند.
- مادران تحصیل کرده به رشد و تغذیه فرزندانشان بیشتر اهمیت میدهند و کودکانشان کمتر به بیماری مبتلا میشوند.
- افراد باسواد احتمال بیشتری دارد که در امور مردم سالاری مشارکت داشته و حقوق مدنی خود را به کار گیرند.
